Hirecorp UK has developed T'Mac, a range of self-propelled track mounted air compressors that look set to revolutionise the site air-compressor market.

The units, which are available in a range of sizes, has been painstakingly developed to address many of the problems traditionally associated with site air-compressors and has many unique features that make the T'Mac an invaluable tool for site work.

The T'Mac  features vulcanised rubber pads fitted to steel tracks specially designed to minimise damage to metallised roads and delicate sites and also make the units highly manoeuvrable in restricted built-up areas. As self-propelled units, the T'Mac   compressors save on towing costs and are themselves equipped with tow bars enabling them to deliver other items to the site. Hirecorp UK can also supply a low-ground pressure land barge that can be towed behind the T'Mac  loaded with tools and supplies for operations of the day.

The low centre of gravity of the T'Mac allows it to traverse uneven ground safely and its remote operating system ensures maximum operator safety at all times, particularly when loading and unloading for transportation. In the interests of safety the T'Mac  is also fitted with visual and audible alarms when tracking

The hydraulic circuit to the tracks is charged with biodegradable oil ensuring that the T'Mac  is environmentally-friendly.  

Currently there are two models taken from the New Ingersoll-Rand Range:

14/115             11.3³/min (400c.f.m.) at 14 bar (200p.s.i)

21/215             20.9³/min (750c.f.m.) at 20.7 bar (300p.s.i.)
